Multiple natural slab avalanches were reported on Sunday that looked like they were trigged from wet loose avalanches. This type of avalanche activity usually begins as we approach springtime conditions with warmer temperatures on sunny slopes. These photos are of Penguin Ridge's southerly facing slopes. Natural or human triggered wet loose avalanches have the potential to trigger a larger slab avalanche. Keep this in mind if you are traveling on sunny slopes.
