Observation: Eyrie Peak

Dug a snow pit on NW facing slope near Eyrie peak at 7982 vertical feet. The pit location wind was calm, though it was more moderate on the ridgeling. Clouds were few at 12:00 pm. Notable cornice fall just north of Eyrie. Looked to be from yesterday. Conditions may be similar for tomorrow due to the high temperatures and clear skies.
