Quick report
Started from the highway at 1:00. 35° and snowing lightly, with the sun trying to poke through, and a light breeze. About an inch of fresh accumulation on top of a rotten snow pack. Powerline ROW is freshly cleared. Skinned up to about elevation 2500 ft. Just like yesterday, noticed glopping starting at 2:00 pm and dogs kicking off rollerballs. Skiied down the top of the gully and it was pretty mashed potatoey. Coming around the corner out of the side of the gully and into the main meadows managed to get stuck in a wet little sinkhole. Back at the highway at 4:45. Did not do any formal snowpack tests.
