Went for a few laps in the Wolverine cirque. According to the car, the TH was registering 5f at 1000. Ridgelines were inverted at 18f with a light E wind. Approach coverage remains challenging, with skis on from the car possible, but sections of walking required on the exit if ACLs are of value to you. Found good turns in a wind loaded gully, with 5cms of recent snowfall overlying firm chalky windslab. Dug a pit on a SW aspect at 3700ft. Found approximately 100cms of snow with two concerning faceted layers that produced propagating result (profile attached). Also experience a few isolated incidents of shooting cracks in the new snow on the uptrack.
