Quick report

Did a tour up sunny side today. Toured up common uptrack start at 1000 am, pit a 2400 (pic 1) on way to warm up bowl adjacent to the skin track. Lots of snow pack variability both aspect and elevation dependent. Did second quick pit at 2800 ft N facing. Observed old avalanche debris (primarily soft slab relaeases) looked to have released during storm cycle on numerous NW aspects. Skis clear. New surfucae hoar formation evident on all aspects. Back to car at @330p. Excellent ski quality. Quick Pit at 2400ft on common upstrack; HS 160cm ...structure 30cm of dry snow top over damp snow (good snow ball snow) snow was wet from 130cm-80cm. Did not dig full pit Quick pit, warm up bowl at 2880 ft N aspect demonstrate that 2mm facet/ decomposing surface hoar layer at 70 cm below snow surface ECTP21 and ECTP23 both BKN The NW ridge on Warm up bowl had evidence of soft slab slide during storm/wind. Debris skied well. Dry point release avalanches skiing the more NWW aspect.
