Extension collapsing of the dominant weak/faceted layer. Beware of the terrain trap below the big drift between Flattop proper and Blueberry hill near the "Y" where the south and north side trails split. If it hasn't slid already it may be ripe.
Avalanche
The slide was triggered while skiing flat ground at least 100 meters from the toe of the slope. A large collapse set of a chain of collapse that traveled up the mountain. You could literally hear it travel.
