Visibility was extremely poor and we didn’t want to get too close, so, details uncertain, but we observed what appeared to be a natural cornice failure that triggered a storm/wind slab on the east aspect of the col between sunrise and tombstone peak. Size appeared to be roughly D1.5. We’re not sure when it happened. We also observed progressively more wind loading on eastern aspects.
