Quick report

We skied the Fingers chutes at Bridger Bowl, and snow was quite stable. I wanted to report that there appears to be an interesting layer of near surface facets in between Thursday's heavy snowfall, and Friday's lighter snow. It would appear the cold temps last night created a small widespread weak layer about 6 inches to a foot from the surface. Easily observable via pole probing and visible on a hand pit. Could be reactive in deeper snowpack on higher ridge lines and larger peaks.
