Came across this natural, cornice-triggered avalanche on the north face of Peak 9269 while skinning up short swing this morning. Couldn't see how far the slide had ran, but well past the tree line. Strong winds from the southeast had created sensitive conditions on all leeward aspects; plenty of shooting cracks and other signs of instability observed on all leeward aspects.
