Quick report

Conducted snow study on 10deg slope, 8100’, East facing, partially shaded, 200m away (leeward) from a minor ENE facing finger (3) CTX columns at this site Depth Hoar/Basalt layer at ground level that has created issues most of the season was not present here and/or has metamorphosed into Large Rounded Particles (RGlr) and Faceted Rounded Particles (RGxf) 2cm melt/freeze layer (P density) at 30cm thin wind buff layer (P density) at 50cm wind loading is currently the (obvious) primary concern in this area, avoid travel on or below these features

Avalanche

Multiple small to medium avalanches from wind loading based avalanches observed in this area due to the SW wind during the last cycle
