Quick report
Test pit was dug on a Northwest aspect of 300 deg at 5980 ft on a 15 degree slope. A shovel test exposed an layer with minor instability at 80. Compression test made it all the way to a CT 30 with no signs of instability. Propagation test did not show any signs of slab propagation. A thick icy crust still persists at 125mm but doesn't appear to be acting as a vapor trap.
