Quick report

Ventured out to a landslide in Burt Ravine to check out how things are on the West side. After a fair bushwhack we arrived at the base of the slide near 3700’ on a NW aspect. Generally shallow snowpack with isolated spots of deeper snow mostly in the heart of the slide, sufficient enough to skin up with some difficulty. Far too many rocks to ski. (For me at least) In a few isolated, deeper spots we did find some small slabs using hand shears, they were stubborn and of no concern for us. No instability observed otherwise
