Quick report
Rode up into the clear creek drainage and observed a D2 avalanche that likely occurred naturally while we were out there during heating. No obvious signs of cornice failure, but similar avalanches had been triggered by cornice failures. Observed multiple similar avalanches on SE-NE aspects, that appeared to be failing on March 20th layer. Instability more present in southern portion of forecast area that received significantly more snow from last storm cycle. Did not observe crown/debris up close so all sizes estimated.
