Quick report

We skied gash point. The snow was wet and globbing a lot at mid-high elevations (6-8000ft), then powder was a bit dryer the last 900ft. Maybe a bit lower. New snow of about 10-12”. There was a sun affected crust below the new snow. The new snow seemed to have bonded reasonably well and seemed fairly stable. We saw a couple dry loose recent avalanches on sky pilot, and some cracks.

Avalanche

A couple dry loose slides off the northeast face of sky pilot, plus a few cracks and older slides visible.
