Quick report

We experienced very stable conditions. We dug a pit and completed an extended column test, with no failure after 30 compressions. Pit was dug on an east facing slope around 7500 feet. Sun exposed slopes were hard pack. Terrain protected from the sun was sugar snow from cold temps. The number one avalanche concern of our trip was cornices.
