Quick report
We skinned up to Hidden Lake Peaks and found generally excellent snow for riding on both windward and leeward aspects. The west side had a good scouring above 6300' and some consolidation but felt like a groomer. The NE side was pretty pillowy but didn't feel hollow. South and West aspects got pretty loose in the afternoon. Several hand shears on W aspects produced planar fractures on a layer 8-12" down but required significant force.
Avalanche
We saw recent wet loose slides to d1.5 on West and South aspects, plus a small slab on a steep SE leeward aspect.
