Took some obs at about 1045am from both sides of a ridge line at 7500' to see north/south differences.
Air temp: -10, wind: calm, sky: obscured with sun showing thru
North: HS 95cm, Surface temp.: -10C
1-2mm SH on top of 1-2cm very breakable crust on top of what looked to be wind blown particles and fragments that are turning NSF.
South: HS 100, surface temp.: -4C
1mm SH on top of 4cm more stout crust on top of 1mm NSF.
