Snowpack
We dug two pits near Christmas Tree Bowl. Pit one: 8750', South aspect, 23 degree slope, HS- 95cm, ECTP8 failing 40cm down on facets below the 12/10 crust. Pit two: 8900', NE aspect, 22 degree slope, HS-120cm, we performed two ECTs, both ECTs were low strength in nature and both had propagation. One propagated right above the 12/10 crust the other propagated right below the 12/10. The 12/10 crust was 45cm down in the snowpack. Also of note- when removing the new snow and and performing an ECT with the12/10 crust being the top layer, we had propagation at the bottom of our pit on the moist basil facets.
