Northern Swan Front

Quick report

Went out to do another inventory of the glide cracks along the Northern Swan Front. Only 1 (in Brown's Bowl) of the 19 glide cracks observed on 1/30 may have recently failed but new and drifted snow is making that assessment inconclusive. The remaining 18 observed 1/30 have not changed appreciably. Four new glide cracks were identified (photos). Two recent natural slab avalanches were observed in Brown's Bowl (photo) as well as a loose slide in the Noisy Creek Drainage.
