Significant unconsolidated powder on the slope. Sun exposure increased throughout the day with partial cloud cover

Witnessed a skier, caught, carried, and partially buried in loose wet. Skier lost equipment but was able to self extract. Roughly 5500 ft south aspect at 12:50 pm Point release direct from skiers line. Probably d1.5.
