Quick report
Toured into the runout of Hillman’s and found a debris field upon clearing the last tree. Guessing it went naturally sometime during the earlier part of the day, as debris was still visible on the surface, with some snapped tree branches included. Photos were taken at approximately 1525hrs where the runout turns due north towards Little Headwall. I’d guess maybe D2 for size. I could not observe a crown line, as visibility was limited with clouds and wind transported snow. Descended out the JSST and toured up to Main Gully in Gulf of Slides. Found one other set of tracks from earlier in the day, and estimate there was maybe a foot of new snow in the gully, with a fist bordering on finger hard layer below. Conducted hand shears on lookers left and right at approximately 4300ft, and found no signs of instability. Descended from that elevation and found great powder turns.
