Only a few red flags, but mostly traveled in low angle sheltered terrain.

Travel today was from 6k-8500'.

Quite pleasant out. New snow in this location had settled out a few inches. Probably about 8" at the trail head, and 12" plus at my high point.

Height of snow is only 18" or so at 6000', with close to 36" just above 8000'

Riding perfect powder on the supportable heat crust from the last high pressure warm up.

No evidence of rime in this area, however it could be at the higher elevations.....

Snow structure was better then I thought it was going to be, with damp small grains sitting on the ground. I'd call if Fair.

Still plenty of obstacles to watch for just below the surface.

No new avalanches viewed today due to light snow and low cloud deck.

Snowpack

Powder still holding on all aspects and elevations for this location.
