Quick report

Cracking
isolated

Wind was blowing hard from the SW off and on the whole day. The snow in both the NW bowl and the Presidential Chutes was better than expected given the recent warming and then cool down. There seemed to be very little new snow.

Avalanche

Triggered two small wind slabs (3-4" thick, 10-15' across) directly under my feet as I dropped into and then moved across one of the Presidential Chutes (NE aspect). They weren't large enough to knock me off my feet and I only peed myself a little.
