Quick report
While out in Rock Creek for a Snow course survey, we spotted a fairly large, likely natural avalanche (no evidence of people in this area for quite some time) on the NE face of Fortress Mountain. Slide was in steep, cliff, and wind loaded terrain, approximately 300-400 feet wide and likely running at least that far.
