Quick report
We were out at Bradley's with a Friends of GNFAC fundamentals course yesterday. We found well developed facets below the soft new snow and a stiffer layer of older snow. We dug a pit on an east aspect around 7800' and got inconclusive ECT results with the column appearing to have a broken failure progressively crossing different layers within the faceted snow 20-30cm down. We didn't have time to perform another test.
