Toured into Gold Basin to take a look at some of the south facing stuff off Laurel Highway, pics below. North facing snow was damp but soft and enjoyable around 11:30. As I was transitioning saw 2 people descend gravel pit lanes, looks like they got good turns up high as well, just before noon. On the way home the road down was mostly melted out but pretty sloppy up high.
