There is a Dense Layer over a weak facet layer that is reactive. We observed many avalanches along our route on all aspects and upper elevations. Most were from the Jan 20th cycle. We observed D1-D2 throughout our route. With multiple meadow collapses.

Temps just below freezing, sky was broken, Light winds, no new significant amount of precipitation.

Surface- 0-10 cm of low density PP, DF, and SH Upper- 10-20 Cm of 4F-P Density with RG and DF Middle- 20-40 Cm of 1F-P Density with RG and DF Lower- 50-70 Cm of 4F-F density with FC and DH
Avalanche
We found the depth of the PWL of Jan 4th between 47-57 cm down. Our group dug 4 different pits on S-SE aspects and all experienced sudden collapse of on or below the Jan 4th PWL. All 4 pits had propagations at or below the the Jan 4th PWL in the lower facets and Depth Hoar.
