Snowpack
The previous 48 hrs of snow was not an issue due to wind scouring. Last nights 12" bonded well to old wind effected snow surfaces and storm slabs lacked enough density to propagate. Wind slabs from previous 48 hrs were unreactive to AS. Todays wind continues to transport snow creating fresh stubborn winds slabs specific to terrain features. Ski quality improved today but any exposed terrain is a variable mix of wind scoured and deeper drifts. The alpine terrain is ravaged from the wind.
