Quick report

Targeting the cold sink near town to see how bad the facet sluffs are getting. Sluffing remains shallow and relatively minor compared to what we sometimes see during long droughts in this type of terrain.  In most start zones, pushed snow would quickly lose momentum.  In the steepest sustained terrain (>40 to 45*) sluffs would maintain momentum and entrain the top 6" of loose snow.  No evidence of full-depth gouging here. Skiing is still supportive making sluff management easy. Bushwacking on the other hand....

Triggered a shallow sluff on very steep slope.
