Quick report

I travelled between 5600' and 7600' and observed a variety of aspects. Elevations between 5600' and 6000' received a few centimeters of very moist storm snow. Storm totals steadily increased to approximately 20-30cm's by 7500', where it was a frosty -8C (17F) at 1:00PM. Leeward north through east slopes were actively being wind loaded by moderate/strong winds at ridge top. Little wind effect was observed below 7500'. Skies were a mix of sun and cloud today with small squalls occasionally depositing traces of graupel. No other signs of instability were noted.

Avalanche

Small dry loose avalanches in steep rocky N-E facing terrain between 7200-7400'. Very small natural windslab observed below a cornice on E aspect at 7900'.
