Quick report
Abrupt snow line just above 3000’. Parking was at the quarry. The whoops on the road are not too bad. Partly sunny at 10am. Conditions were soft, slushy, supportable and fun. Around 11am it was overcast. By 11:30am the next round of weather came in with increasing wind and light-moderate rain. It was raining above our high point of 5200’. Lots of evidence of avalanches from the previous rain cycle and recent warm, sunny weather. Although it was warm and sunny, and then raining today, we did not experience any warming signs in the snow pack while we were out. There are still some large cornices out there!
