This small slide was the only instability we observed touring in the area all day.

Avalanche

At 6,000’ on a west aspect above Bullion Basin, at a steep rollover we triggered a small slide while skiing (approx. 20’ wide, 9”-12” deep). It only slid about 30’ until it hit large mature trees below. No one was caught.
