Quick report
Another beauty of a day to be out walking in the hills. I walked back and climbed the SE gully of Burr Point/ pk 8469 just W of the reservoir. I dug once near the top, on a S aspect near 8,300' and found 340cm of snow. I got a couple of ECTNs in the mid teens 30cm down, but nothing propogated. I felt comfortable skiing the S facing peak-creek run. The winds kept the snow surface cool, but the sun was still doing it's thing and solars skied smooth without any wet loose activity.
Avalanche
I could see a small natural glide avalanche on the east side of the divide -7,000', 35 degrees- at the end of Fred Burr canyon, there was also a glide crack starting on the same slope a bit higher up and lookers left.
