Quick report
SE/S slopes got properly baked while E/NE slopes saw some solar warming but stayed relatively cold/dry, especially in more sun-sheltered spots. The avalanches may have been a result of warming weakening the interface between the windslab and old melt-freeze surface.

Snowpack
Snowpack in the bowl was a mix of windslab on E/NE aspects and softening melt-freeze with pockets of warming windslab on SE/S aspects. These pockets were isolated in Right Gully and Lobster Claw but more connected in Sluice and everything to lookers left of Sluice.
Avalanche
Two skier-triggered avalanches were observed in Sluice. Both were windslab avalanches with crown depth varying from 3-12", with the larger slide being D1, R3 and the smaller being D1, R1.5. These occurred near simultaneously by skiers in the same party. One skier was caught and carried the length of Sluice.
