- Poor Snowpack Structure
I snowshoed using the winter route to Circle Awl. The snow up trail was a bit damp on exposed slopes. No concerns with the snow-pack.
I snowshoed through powder to lightly suncrusted snow on the way choosing low angle terrain in the Aspen or pines as best possible.
The weather was 40ish on top with no wind. There was 1-2" of new snow.

- <p>I snowshed to Circle Awl Peak and found damp snow especially on sun exposed snow. There was a light suncrust after sunset. </p> <p>I saw some wet releases or sluffs off of Gobblers and Raymond. It appeared that these areas were definitely being avoided </p>
