Quick report

Took the sleds up to 1700'. Toured from there up to 3400'. There was a mix of soft snow and wind slabs most of the way up. There were new isolated wind slabs forming from the wind the last night (or so I am thinking). We were able to get very small, unconnected slabs to slide on the thick wind slabs from wednesday/thursday. They were very isolated and only 1/2" thick, most only 10' x 20' in size. Surprising amount of soft snow. Temps were pleasant (or had the illusion of being so). Very little wind (less than 2 mph) the whole afternoon (approx 1-4 PM). We did not enter any avalanche terrain.
