Snowy, light winds no other sings of in stability observed
Avalanche
Triggered an D1 avalanche with a ski cut on a steep rollover 40-45 degrees on a NE facing slope. Broke below my skis. Propagated 30 feet in both directions from my ski tip. Slab looked to be about a foot deep. Happened at 5400 feet off bluegrass ridge. Slide ran 100 ish meters.
