We toured up Crystal Theater at Lolo Pass. We mainly stuck to northern aspects because south-facing slopes had too many exposed logs, rocks, and open dirt patches. We observed: - widespread dry loose avalanches (small sluffs D .5 ) -10 inches of new snow on top of the crust -Propagation in extended column test on a north-facing slope
