Quick report
Traveled on N-NE aspects between 2500'-3700'. Found 3-9" of settled powder on top of a semi supportable crust. The higher we went, the less supportable the crust complex became and you would punch through with boots to weaker snow. HS in openings at 2700' was ~1.5'-2'. HS in openings at 3700' was -2.5'-3'. Turned around at 3700' due to lack of moral, due to thin coverage of main objective. Ski out through the woods was surprisingly easy since the crust below the powder was strong enough to keep you off the ground/obstacles. There appeared to be an inversion, the snow surface was colder and drier lower down. We turned around at 930 am so the slope was still shaded.
