Quick report
Completed a counter clockwise circumnavigation of chair peak. The north slopes of chair are incredibly wind affected, with pockets of smooth chalky snow dispersed amongst the sastrugi. Winds were blowing hard up there this morning. Sheltered north aspects hold excellent settled powder. South aspects are predictably sun affected and coverage is thin on the south side of chair. An old skin track was completely buried in graupel just below melakwa falls, which was interesting. Bryant couloir skied well, but the choke is pretty narrow and the exit requires caution.
Avalanche
Noticed a crown where a wind slab broke in the shaded NE facing bowl just below chair peak, looks like it may have been skier triggered?
