Quick report

The winter trail is still passable. We noted small rollerballs from the day before down Draft Dodger Ridge. By 10am, the snow in Denny Trees side was already heavy with warming. At 11, we skied cold, enjoyable snow on a supportable crust down Pineapple Pass. The snow in No Fog was heavy with warming. Around 1:30, we noted tons of natural rollerballs coming down from above the Thumb Tack. A snow basket pulled across the surface would entrain a significant amount. The transition from wet snow to wet snow demonstrating instability seemed to occur rather quickly. Skiing back to Source Lake kicked off rollerballs and very small sections of wet, loose snow without actually triggering any avalanches.
