basically its sketchy out there, observed and intentionally triggered soft slabs did not step down to older layers and was limited to the new snow and slope angles of 35 degrees

Its sketchy up there! Tight trees were the name of the game. Open areas at or beyon 35 degrees around 7500' sloughed naturally and were much more reactive. Several soft slabs were initiated remotely at this elevation near rollovers.

Snowpack

new snow/soft slabs didn't propogate

wind slab was much more reactive near the ridge line at 9000', lots of cracking.

very light snow, 18'' on top of yesterdays few, our skin track from yesterday afternoon was filled in with at least 18'' at around 8500'. wind effected snow was slabby and reactive between yesterdays and todays new snow.
