We found a mostly stable snowpack with no glaring instabilities. We saw Minor Instabilities in the Upper 20cm of snowpack. Wind loading on East side of compass on exposed ridgelines above 8700'. Obvious rain/rime crust in open exposed terrain at upper elevations. This crust is developing facets underneath.
