I snowshoed to just above the beaver ponds on Broads. There was abundant new snow and the snowshoeing was definitely next level.
i spoke with two backcountry skiers who said they had skied Bonkers. Also that there was some small glides and cracking there. No other details as to how far up they'd gone on Broads. When I arrived later in the day snow was falling and the area was mostly obscured. I did include. Couple of pictures.
My experience with Broads is Saturday probably wasn't a solid day to hit Bonkers or Diving Board. I only saw a few skin or ski tracks so it seemed skiers mostly avoid the trrrain on Broads.
