Quick report

Had a dig today near the top of lone pine on a N aspect at 8800'. Targeted a previously wind loaded location. I found a generally strong, right side up snowpack in this location. Grain size and hardness of weak snow near the ground seems to vary based on other observations around Teton Pass. It was not overly concerning to me in this location. -12/26 mfcr down 50 cm. Some 1mm FC can be found above the crust but they are not the dominant grain type, and not well developed. -12/10 IFrc 130cm. No concerns around this. -2mm FCxr, moist found near ground. 3/5 Lemons for fair structure. Also this is insulated the 12/26 MFcr which was stout in this location.
