Quick report
Partly cloudy skies and cool temps at ridgelines kept the new snow, 12 plus inches above 5500' uneffected by wind or sun. We skied Sw , East and S aspects and enjoyed great skiing on these aspects and saw no signs of instabilities climbing up or skiing down. For now there is no slab above the new stout crusts on solar aspects buried around 1 foot down. This will be a concerning layer when it warms up to welcome Spring . Today we did not step out on any steeper more consequential terrain because of the overall uncertainties of our seasons snowpack and enjoyed great powder skiing and views of our favorite zones!
