I observed evidence of wet loose slides from the previous few days and I observed some new wet loose slides on the drive down from Anthony Lakes. I also witnessed isolated cracking around my skis, specifically as I filled in my pits by skinning above them. I was able to produce slabs approximately 10" thick.

Cloud coverage was scattered to broken throughout the day and I read air temps ranging from 27F-39F. Wind was occasional and light-moderate from the SW. I did witness some wind transported snow throughout the afternoon.
Snowpack
While digging, I found relatively weak snow crystals (Thanksgiving Drought Layer) sitting on top of the Nov. 22nd crust at all elevations on both North and South aspects. On Northern aspects I found 2-6 inches of rounding facets on top of the crust, which I identified 1'-2.5' deep. On the Southern aspect where I dug I did not initially identify facets above the crust, however after receiving stubborn results above the crust in my CT and ECT I was able to isolate a distinct slab about 1' thick. I did not get any propagating results or sudden collapses in any of my tests. We should continue to watch this layer as we get more loading events with increasing temps and/or new precip.
I continued to observe evidence of wind slabs in the top 10"-20" of the snowpack. Additionally, I found some impressively preserved surface hoar, particularly on northern aspects before noon.
