Quick report
Traveled up to the ridgeline in the friendlies to get some views of the surrounding area today. The goal was to get a handle on recent avalanche activity and see how Saturday's east wind event shaped the landscape.
As you can see from the snowpack observations - the winds were ripping at Snoqualmie Pass and there was evidence of it everywhere.
Cataloging older avalanche activity was difficult. I saw a few possible crowns that were very large, but it's not a sure bet. They were filled in or far away. Most debris piles I found had a white blanket on them. I don't have enough confidence in my observations to categorize these slides.

Beautiful blue skies for the majority of the day and little wind. Just a breeze on ridgelines where we were. It was cold down low but got warmer as we ascended.
Snowpack
Wind-exposed areas were a mixed bag of wind effected surfaces: wind press, wind slab, wind board, scoured icy areas, and everything in between. In sheltered areas, well-settled powder existed, which made for enjoyable skiing.
The snow was just a hint heavier on slopes that see direct sunshine.
The surface was starting to facet in protected areas.
Avalanche
Lots of old crowns from the past few days - most of them very small. But widespread, mostly on convex features.
