Bluebird all day with little wind.
Snowpack
It was pretty obvious that wind slabs were everywhere. Hiking up the snow sounded fairly hollow but the was no womphing. Once we reached the top of the ridge we dug a snow pit and found a pretty consistent layer of hoar frost roughly 18 inches deep. However after conducting a few tests we couldn't get the layer to collapse without pounding on it. We dug on a south facing aspect and rode on that same aspect.
