Did a Big Trees lap before Alpental opened. Noticed the Mushroom Couloir had crown circa 6", and a considerable amount of debris over an earlier skin track. Must have come down around 7am; photos are from 7:20am. Told another group about it...I think that's what they're referencing in the other ob? Alpental was shedding and cracking all over...mostly the good fun kind, about 3 different top layer mini crowns, but wouldn't want to be on a larger snowfield. Winds picked up considerably after noon. Alpental closed the top lifts early at 1:30pm. It never stopped snowing from 7am-3pm. Glorious!
